It really feels like things are happening in Tenterfield. New, lovely shops, some really interesting renovations in town and last's night's High Country Table dinner in an old hall just out of town to celebrate the local produce grown in the area. It was a delicious, enormous feast for 52, thank you Kathy from The Sustainable Plate for feeding us all so well.
Here are some photos of the installation I did - with the invaluable help of Matt who runs The Potting Shed in Tenterfield - for the event. Masses of rosemary, wild apples, gum leaves and olive branches ... it smelled so good.
And if you are interested in coming along to the next High Country Table event, make sure to get in touch with Kathryn Sommerlad who organised the evening. She'd probably exhausted and wondering if she has the stamina to put something like this on again, but it was so fabulous we must all insist she does.
And on the domestic floral front, I have been completely obsessed with florist Sarah Winward's creations ... can't stop looking at them, Here are some Sarah inspired arrangements with stuff from the garden which is starting the breathe again after the awful late summer heat.
