I am very excited to let you know I have launched a podcast with my dear friend and cake maker extraordinaire Gillian Bell. It's called Dispatch to a Friend and it's based on the letters we write to each other. It's all about cooking, gardening - all the dispatchy, domestic things - but above all, it's about friendship.
We also will put out a twice-a-season newsletter called Dispatcher's Digest - only for our subscribers. It is a place where regular and special guest writers will share their thoughts with us. And Gillian and I will also share some things of our own.
This issue we have the very funny Sydney journalist and author Meg Mason talking about her struggles with Virginia Woolf's Mrs Dalloway and we hear, in great detail, from the absolutely charming Arthur Parkinson, a 24-year-old hen keeper and gardener in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
To my subscribers, I have signed you up to this newsletter as all of my efforts will be there, rather than here at The Dailys.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.
